1. Tell us a little bit about yourself and what brought you to PayStream?
I am the youngest of 3 siblings, born and raised in Liverpool. Prior to working at PayStream, I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University studying Accounting and Finance and worked in a small accountancy firm in Widnes. I found out about PayStream through a Recruitment Agency.
2. What is a typical day at PayStream like?
There is no typical day at PayStream. Working as a Senior in the Accounts Department, every day presents a new opportunity to progress in your role, develop as an individual and achieve personal goals. The work environment is positive and challenging, with an emphasis on excellent customer service whilst delivering complaint advice tailored to our client’s needs.
3. How does PayStream compare to your previous workplaces?
My previous workplace only employed 6 people including myself, so there is a much more vibrant atmosphere.
4. What do you enjoy most about working at PayStream?
Everyone that works at PayStream is friendly, so being able to work in a positive environment doesn’t really feel like work at all! Out of the office, PayStream also hold several social events which are always a laugh! Great for getting to know people outside of a work setting.
5. What would people be surprised to learn about you?
During Secondary School, I played a Badminton Cup final at the Liverpool Echo Arena as the warmup games for an international tournament. I continue to play in a social league, although I am currently sporting an injury. Hopefully I’ll return to the court soon!
6. What are your favourite things to do outside of work?
Eating some fine fineee food!
